HEALTH & SAFETY ON FIRE PROTECTION PROJECTS 

At IB Fire Protection Ltd, the health, safety, and wellbeing of every operative working with us is of the highest importance. Health and safety is a key requirement within many of the industry accreditations we hold, and we are committed to maintaining the highest standards across all our projects.

 

Our aim is to minimise the risk of occupational accidents and maintain a safe working environment for all employees, clients, and other contractors on site.

🔥 TRAINING

Mandatory health and safety training is essential within the construction industry.

As part of our commitment to maintaining a skilled and competent workforce, all our operatives hold CSCS certification, demonstrating their competence and understanding of health and safety requirements on construction sites.

In addition, many of our operatives hold further industry-recognised training and qualifications, including:

✔ SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme)
✔ IPAF (Mobile Elevated Work Platforms)
✔ PASMA (Mobile Access Towers)
✔ Asbestos Awareness Training
✔ First Aid Training

 

Our ongoing training programme also enables operatives and supervisors to achieve further qualifications, including NVQs within Passive Fire Protection.

Our management team, together with experienced Site Supervisors, oversee all active projects to ensure that every installation is carried out to the highest standards.

 

All passive fire protection systems are installed in accordance with manufacturer guidance and tested installation details, ensuring compliance with current industry regulations.

 

🔥 PRE-CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTATION

Prior to commencing work on site, IB Fire Protection Ltd provides clients with a site-specific documentation pack, which includes:

Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
Product and manufacturer installation details
Relevant safety and compliance documentation

 

All documentation must be reviewed and accepted prior to the start of works to ensure a safe, efficient, and compliant process on site, supporting both our clients and Building Control requirements.
